Each unit is carefully refurbished by the people at Tomtom directly and fully tested before it leaves the factory.

In many cases, these are simply new units re-packaged, this could be for a number of reasons, such as damaged packaging in transit, or simply a returned product.

All refurb units are fully tested and working before they are supplied.
